MOVEMENT STANDARDS

Burpee Standard:

  • chest and hips must make contact with the ground
  • walking in, stepping in or jumping in is permitted
  • 2 feet take off and landing when jumping over rower
  • jump laterally over the rower (not facing)
  • athlete must remain parallel to the rowing machine

NB – athlete must jump over rower and not just from side to side at the foot of the rower

 

Rowing:

  • handle must be replaced back in the cradle
  • athlete may only get off rower when correct calories have been achieved
  • judge may reset screen to zero after each athlete

 

All athletes start behind the line. On 3, 2, 1, go the first female athlete runs to rower and completes burpees over the rower, cals on the rower and last burpees over the rower. She then has to run back over the line to tag the first male, The same happens throughout for all athletes. Time stops when last athlete crosses the line again.
